I have two jobs that I love very much. They are art jobs, so I definitely have an outlet to be creative. I found, though, that I have a more difficult time keeping up with my personal art. The type of art that I do is very illustrative and precise. It takes quite a bit of planning and sometimes my brain is just too tired. I just found a way around this, though. When I get home, I allow playtime with paint. I don't think much. I just do. I drip the paint. I splatter the paint. I do silly cartoons with the paint. I am loving the result. This process is so relaxing and I feel more disciplined in this daily ritual. I am also able to leave my creative door open to new ideas for my illustrations, because of it. :)
